Generally, the cement production process consists of raw material grinding and blending, pre-heating, calcinating and clinker grinding. In detail, the raw materials including limestone, clay and iron ore powder and etc. are ground and blended. The admixture is called cement raw material. Then the cement raw materials are sent to the preheater for preheating. We know that the preheator is very expensive, so sometimes we replace it with rotary dryer. Of course, it all depends. After preheating, the materials are calcined by rotary kiln at a temparature about 1450°C. The cyclone system is attached to the rotary kiln. The calcined cement clinker are then ground with gypsum and other materials by cement ball mill to make cement.
