How to Replace Lining Plates in Energy-Saving Ball Mills?

For operators of energy-saving ball mills, replacing the lining plates is a critical task,  not only prolongs the mill’s service life, but also boosts grinding efficiency. The following are instructions for replacing the liner: 

1.Preparation is Key: Before diving into the replacement process, it’s essential to stop the ball mill completely. Operators should gather all necessary tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, and cranes, and ensure that new lining plates meet the mill’s specifications;

2.The Removal Process: Access to the mill is granted by removing the ball mill access cover. Next, operators must clear the mill of steel balls and materials to create a safe workspace. The old lining plates are then carefully unbolted from top to bottom and removed using a crane or hoist;

3.Inspection and Cleanup: A thorough inspection for damage and necessary repairs within the mill is crucial. The interior must be cleaned to remove any debris and residual materials, ensuring a smooth installation process for the new lining plates;

4.Installing the New Lining Plates: Attention to detail is paramount when installing new lining plates. They must be placed in the correct order and aligned with the bolt holes. Each plate is then securely fastened, taking care not to over-tighten and cause damage;

5.Post-Installation Checks and Trial Run: After reinstalling the access cover and ensuring all bolts are tightly fastened；
