How to Prolong the Service Life of Jaw Crusher?

Preparation Before Jaw Crusher Running
1. Check bearing lubrication to make sure it is sufficient;
2. Inspect if all fasteners like bolts and nuts are tight;
3. Examine safeguard to ensure it’s in good condition;
4. Check whether there are minerals or other sundries in crushing cavity

Maintenance and Use of Jaw Crusher
1. Side feeding should be avoided after crusher is in operation;
2. Temperature rise of bearing should not exceed 35 ℃ ;
3. In noraml working condition, the maichine should be stopped if its highest teperature exceeds 70 ℃;
4. Before power off, engine cannot be shut down until all the crushed materials have been discharged.

Lubrication to Ensure Jaw Crusher Normal Working
1. Pay attention to add frequent lubricaiton to parts with frication, and this operation is subject to site, temperature, etc;
2. Albany grease, sodium grease, calcium-sodium grease is the usual adoption for jaw crusher;
3. Lubrication volume better takes up 50-70% of bearing bracket, and need to be changed once per three months;
4. When add new lubrication, bearings and bearing bracket should be washed by clean gasoline or coal oil.
