Philippines President-elect Meets with Chinese Ambassador As a Matter of Priority

 

On May 16, Philippines President-elect Rodrigo Duterte met with Chinese ambassador Zhao Jian Hua, one of the first batch there foreign ambassadors that he officially met after election.  According to GMA, both sides indicated that a very good conversation was carried out. China is looking forward to cooperation with President Duterte and his team to enhance the bilateral relation.

 

Since 2015, China became the second largest trading partner to Philippines. Every year, a lot of “Made-in-China” products were exported to Philippines market.
